The Mijoux-La Faucille (Monts Jura) resort boasts exceptional snow conditions from December to late March, enabling winter-sport buffs to satisfy their yearnings. Children’s playgroup on the premises.
Downhill skiing with 60km of runs for every level of proficiency and 30 lifts in the Monts Jura ski area (local ESF and ESI ski schools, cross-country skiing with 140km of marked trails on the La Vattay and La Valserine sites, snowshoe outings on the mountain ridges or in the Jura Forest, guided trekking.
In summer, reigning over the lush valley, Mijoux La Faucille is your departure point for a wide array of trekking adventures with over 100km of marked trails, in addition to the Mont Rond Telecombi lifts offering an exceptional panoramic view over the Alpine chain and Lake Geneva stretching across 280km (rated 3-star panorama in the Michelin guide). It is also possible to discover the Jura Mountains by donkey (hiking for the young and young-at-heart accompanied by packsaddle donkeys.
